One of life’s constant truths is that actor/ producer Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson is incredibly dependable in times of crisis. This country is in one now and this cast-bursting man is delivering quality escapist entertainment to the masses. He’s rescued his daughter in SAN ANDREAS, his albino gorilla in RAMPAGE and now he’s gonna save his family from “the most advanced, super tall structure in the world” (their written words) in SKYSCRAPER.

And let’s reiterate that there’s nobody better,or more capable, to handle a mission than him. I mean, look at this newest trailer and feel free to @ us.

The outrageous action-adventure is written and directed by Rawson Marshall Thurber (WE’RE THE MILLERS, CENTRAL INTELLIGENCE) and co-stars Neve Campbell, Chin Han, Noah Taylor, Roland Møller, Byron Mann, Pablo Schreiber and Hannah Quinlivan.

Judging by the trailer, this tangibly feels like it embodies a 90’s action movie throwback concept. It’s DIE HARD meets THE TOWERING INFERNO – and we are so here for it. Not only does this look like an uproarious amount of fun, and a solid way to escape the Summer heat, the premise makes for some emotional heroics that will assuredly tether audiences to the picture.

Sign us up! You’ll see me clinging onto life on the edge of my seat.

SKYSCRAPER opens on July 13.
