I was lucky enough to catch director Adam McKay‘s THE BIG SHORT last night, closing night of AFI Fest and can attest the film is pretty darn great. You can read my review here. It takes a complicated subject (the financial crisis of 2007/2008) and boils it down into the astonishing facts all whilst being highly entertaining. The new featurette below can fill you in some more.
This is a fascinating story that’s continuing to unfold today. It should be mandatory viewing for the American public so we won’t get fooled again.
THE BIG SHORT opens in limited release on December 11 and wide on December 23.
