While you’re trying to nurse any heartache not being able to spot Ant-Man and his trusty side-kick Antony in AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR (they gotta save something for part two, folks!), Marvel is delivering you a special sufficient dose in their trailer for the next chapter, ANT-MAN AND THE WASP.

This latest adventure takes place after the male protagonists in ANT-MAN finally (FINALLY!) decided it was okay for the capable, strong, badass Hope Van Dyne (Evangeline Lilly)- the one that had to train Scott Lang how to properly use his tech – to suit up and fight alongside the titular hero. Now we’re talkin’!

While the first film suffered from a musical chairs of writers and directors lending their voices and creative inputs (and houses one of the worst MCU villains), this sequel looks like it will certainly serves as a step-up from its predecessor.

Director Peyton Reed returns to the directors chair, welcoming a cast of returning actors like, Paul Rudd, Lilly, Michael Pena, Bobby Cannavale,  Judy Greer, Tip “T.I.” Harris, David Dastmalchian, Abby Ryder-Fortson, and Michael Douglas. New to the Marvel realm are Hannah John-Kamen (READY PLAYER ONE), Walton Goggins (TOMB RAIDER), Randall Park (FRESH OFF THE BOAT), (Pfu*k yeah) Michelle Pfeiffer (MOTHER!), and Laurence Fishburne (JOHN WICK: CHAPTER 2).

Here’s the official synopsis:

From the Marvel Cinematic Universe comes “Ant Man and The Wasp,” a new chapter featuring heroes with the astonishing ability to shrink. In the aftermath of “Captain America: Civil War,” Scott Lang grapples with the consequences of his choices as both a Super Hero and a father. As he struggles to rebalance his home life with his responsibilities as Ant-Man, he’s confronted by Hope van Dyne and Dr. Hank Pym with an urgent new mission. Scott must once again put on the suit and learn to fight alongside The Wasp as the team works together to uncover secrets from the past.

ANT-MAN AND THE WASP opens on July 6.
