Christopher Nolan amps up the gripping tension of world history in ‘DUNKIRK’

As it appears, director Christopher Nolan has made a ferocious war movie with DUNKIRK. While it looks like it’ll be his SAVING PRIVATE RYAN (which is based on events that occurred on the shores of Normandy four years later), Nolan’s film (based on the events that happened during the Battle Of Dunkirk) should stand apart. The way he ratchets up the tension here within one minute is astounding. This is how all trailers should be cut.

I’m a huge fan of Nolan’s work so I’m eagerly awaiting this harrowing affair come next year. It will probably take me that long to bone up on the history. Plus, this is gonna look killer in IMAX.

DUNKIRK stars Tom Hardy, Mark Rylance, Cillian Murphy, Kenneth Branagh and – according to IMDB – One Direction’s Harry Styles.
