I’ve never been so excited to see a PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN film since the original debuted back in 2003. But with the KON-TIKI directors at the helm of PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN: DEAD MEN TELL NO TALES, I couldn’t be more thrilled to see what different kinds of amazing they can pull off with a giant budget.
While the film teaser didn’t show any of beloved series star Johnny Depp, this ad keeps his appearance to bear minimum. This serves more as another introduction to Javier Bardem’s villain. Take a look at the extended “big game” ad:
If anything, I think this chapter will deliver on the promise of incredible visuals, lending a texture the series hasn’t really experienced before.
