If there’s one filmmaker whose world I will shove people out of the way to deep dive into, it’s that of the one Nancy Meyers creates. Her features are aspirational living where in which you can score a better high from than Pinterest. Her in the flesh labor of love – daughter Hallie Meyers-Shyer – has birthed a cinematic creation along the same lines as her mother’s features, HOME AGAIN. “It” runs in the family because I want to live in the warm, effervescent reality Meyers-Shyer creates in this movie.

In the film, Reese Witherspoon’s character Alice is attempting to navigate life as a newly single mom of two young daughters when three younger men (played by Pico Alexander, Nat Wolff and Jon Rudnitsky) enter the picture. They wind up enriching her life in many ways (far more than just the traditional romantic sense), but not before her ex (Michael Sheen) re-appears, wanting back in.

If you’re looking for a little bit of escapism this fall (and who isn’t, really?!), HOME AGAIN will make you feel like you can always find home again – even amidst an emotionally tumultuous time.

HOME AGAIN opens on September 8.
