Sweetie Darlings!!!! A new tease for ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS: THE MOVIE has been released and it’s a goodie. Showing Patsy (Joanna Lumley) and Edina, a.k.a. Eddie (Jennifer Saunders) lapping up luxury, booze and men, and set to Jane Birkin and Serge Gainsbourg’s uber sexy song, “Je T’aime,…Moi Non Plus,” this tiny trailer whets our appetites to see more of the film’s narrative. I’m guessing this is a daydream of Eddie’s.

Here’s the official synopsis:

Edina and Patsy are still oozing glitz and glamor, living the high life they are accustomed to; shopping, drinking and clubbing their way around London’s trendiest hot-spots. Blamed for a major incident at an uber fashionable launch party, they become entangled in a media storm and are relentlessly pursued by the paparazzi. Fleeing penniless to the glamorous playground of the super-rich, the French Riviera, they hatch a plan to make their escape permanent and live the high life forever more!

Edina’s bubbly-but-not-bright assistant Bubble (Jane Horrocks), straight-laced daughter Saffy (Julia Sawalha), Marshall’s second wife Bo (Mo Gaffney) and Edina’s nemesis Claudia “bloody” Bing (Celia Imrie) all return. Rebel Wilson, Kate Moss, Emma Bunton, Cara Delevingne and  are also involved.

Our wheels are on fire…. rolling down the roooooooad!

ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS: THE MOVIE opens in limited release on July 1.
