Listen Up! ‘ALL QUIET ON THE WESTERN FRONT’ is Getting A Vinyl Soundtrack Release

BAFTA Winner and two-time Academy Award Nominee Volker Bertelmann’s incredible score for ALL QUIET ON THE WESTERN FRONT sets the tone for the picture’s thematic resonance to shine through. His immersive compositions hit like a ton of bricks, complementing the action playing out like a horror movie. And, as I’ve been dreaming, it’s secured a vinyl release thanks to Netflix and Music On Vinyl.

There will be two limited edition variants available on May 5: A Smoke Coloured vinyl (2000 individually numbered copies) and Green & Silver Marbled vinyl (300 individually numbered copies). Both are 180 gram audiophile vinyl, featuring a heavyweight sleeve with leather laminate finish and includes 4-page booklet with movie stills.

Netflix and Music on Vinyl are a terrific partnership. Their special edition vinyls are a collector’s dream. I own their vinyl releases of EUROVISION SONG CONTEST: THE STORY OF FIRE SAGA and MA RAINEY’S BLACK BOTTOM. Not only do they sound pristine, the packaging is truly created with craft and care. They are always a treat to own – and I can’t wait to add these two variants to my personal collection.  I highly recommend pre-ordering ASAP here.

The soundtrack is currently available to stream digitally and features the highlight track “Remains” which has crossed over two million streams on digital streaming platforms. The film won a record-breaking 7 BAFTA Awards including Best Film and Best Original Score. All Quiet on the Western Front is also nominated for 9 Academy Awards including Best Picture, Best International Feature, Best Original Score, Best Adapted Screenplay, and Best Cinematography.
