Listen up, Pitches! ‘PITCH PERFECT 3’ is gonna be aca-awesome

Were you, like me, left wondering after PITCH PERFECT 2 where the heck creators could take the Barden Bellas next? It appears we don’t have to worry any more – well, sorta. It’s fairly worrisome trying to make it in the real world – something the Bellas are taking a stab at doing and not quite succeeding. The thing that brings them back together? A USO tour. Naturally it will be another journey marked with hijinks and hilarity.

Take a look:

The third chapter, directed by Trish Sie (STEP UP ALL IN) stars most of the series’ return players – Anna Kendrick, Rebel Wilson, Hailee Steinfeld, Brittany Snow, Anna Camp, Hana Mae Lee, Ester Dean, Alexis Knapp, Chrissie Fit, Kelley Jakle, Shelley Regner, John Michael Higgins and Elizabeth Banks – as well as a few new additions like new franchise queen Ruby Rose and John Lithgow, who is in EVERYTHING these days.

By the looks of it, things are going to get aca-hella awesome in this next iteration. I love that with each film, the aesthetic is becoming more polished and cinematic. I also love that humor remains in tact as I laughed a few times during the trailer above.
