‘MORGAN’ trailer shows that being a superhuman teen sucks

“What is Morgan?”

That’s the logline for the new Ridley Scott-produced film, MORGAN. And we’re betting she’s a lot of things. However, cool, calm and collected probably weren’t programmed into her DNA. In the sci-fi tinged thriller,a corporate troubleshooter (Kate Mara) is sent to a remote, top-secret location, where she is to investigate and evaluate a terrifying accident. She learns the event was triggered by a seemingly innocent “human,” who presents a mystery of both infinite promise and incalculable danger.

Unlike the teaser, the trailer shows a lot more – including a very good look at the titular figurehead. Listen, being a teen sucks, but being a superhuman genetically-engineered teen is probably a million times worse.

MORGAN opens on September 2.
