Movie News: More Photos From the Set of ‘SUICIDE SQUAD’ Show Harley Quinn & Others Up-Close

Director David Ayer gave us the first official look at his cast in the SUICIDE SQUAD last night (pictured above), and with good reason. The cast and crew quickly went to work shortly following the release of the photo, so Ayer beat people with cellphone cams to the punch.

But now, “those people” have taken more pictures, giving us up-close looks at some of the beloved villains, including Harley Quinn (Margot Robbie), Captain Boomerang (Jai Courtney), and Deadshot (Will Smith).

Here are the some of the photos:

Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn
Scott Eastwood in an unknown role. Thought to be playing Steve Trevor.
Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje as Killer Croc.
Will Smith as Deadshot.
Jay Hernandez as El Diablo.

SUICIDE SQUAD opens August 5, 2016.

I have been working as a film journalist since 2010, dividing the first four years between radio broadcasting and entertainment writing in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex. In 2014, I entered Fresh Fiction (FreshFiction.tv) as the features editor. The following year, I stepped into the film critic position at the Denton Record-Chronicle, a daily North Texas print publication. My time is dedicated to writing theatrical film reviews, at-home entertainment columns, and conducting interviews with on-screen talent and filmmakers, as well as hosting a podcast devoted to genre filmmaking (called My Bloody Podcast). I've been married for ten happy years, and I have one son who is all about dinosaurs just like his dad.
