THE FLASH (CW)

“Things You Can’t Outrun” – As Barry (Grant Gustin) and the team at S.T.A.R. Labs work to capture Kyle Nimbus (Anthony Carrigan), aka The Mist, a dangerous new meta-human with toxic gas powers, they revisit the painful night the particule accelerator exploded and killed Caitlin’s fiance, Ronnie (Robbie Amell). Meanwhile, Joe (Jesse L. Martin) decides to finally visit Henry (John Wesley Shipp) in jail after all these years, but things take a dangerous turn when Kyle shows up looking to punish Joe for arresting him years ago. Meanwhile, Iris (Candice Patton) and Eddie (Rick Cosnett) continue to hide their relationship from Joe.

THE VOICE (NBC)

“The Battles, Part 4” – The fourth round of battles get underway.

Winner: THE VOICE is not something that needs to be watched immediately; it’s TV junk food. Something to keep on in the background and be amused by, while THE FLASH is something with a little more meat on its bones. THE FLASH isn’t quite on ARROW level, but it’s still fun. It has potential. So go with THE FLASH.

MARRY ME (NBC)

“Move Me” (9 p.m.) – Annie (Casey Wilson) is stressed over sharing her apartment with Jake (Ken Marino). Gil (John Gemberling) camps out at a all-you-can-eat restaurant.

ABOUT A BOY (NBC)

“About a House for Sale” (9:30 p.m.) – Will (David Walton) is told to sell his San Francisco home in order to solve his money issues. So he decides to find Marcus (Benjamin Stockham) a brand new best friend.

MARVEL’S AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D (ABC)

“A Hen in the Wolf House” – Coulson’s (Clark Gregg) team is up against the beautiful and deadly Bobbi Morse (Adrianne Palicki) — Security Chief for Hydra. Meanwhile, Skye’s father forces Raina to reunite him with his daughter at any cost.

Winner: MARRY ME isn’t the freshest-feeling show on the pulley, and ABOUT A BOY is a cute display (watch the first season on Netflix if you’re still not binge-watching GILMORE GIRLS). However, AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D is one of the most exciting shows on the tube right now.

Last season (its first season) started off great with its first two episodes, but once Joss Whedon left the building to go focus on THE AVENGERS 2, the show lost momentum. It began to venture down a POWER RANGERS path and had no real season arc. Then something changed. Maybe ABC listened to audiences and they retooled the show. But it got good, like real damn good. And this season isn’t off to a bad start, especially with Hydra in the picture. So if you’re not caught up, do so quickly. Just go on Wikipedia and look up what happened up until the halfway point of last season, then you should be golden to watch the rest on ABC.com and/or other streaming services.

SONS OF ANARCHY (FX)

“Greensleeves” – In order to undermine a powerful club enemy SAMCRO makes an unlikely partnership.

Nothing. The only thing worth watching at this hour, this day even, is SONS OF ANARCHY. If you’re not caught up, you also needn’t worry. It’s all available on Netflix, with the sixth season (best one of the series) making its way on there on Saturday (stop reading here if you haven’t caught up to last week’s episode).

Last week Juice (Theo Rossi) tried to give up club secrets to make it across the border, and Gemma (Katey Sagal) is scared that Juice will tell Jax (Charlie Hunnam) that he killed Tara (Maggie Siff). There’s a lot on the line, and there’s undoubtedly going to be a HUGE showdown at the end of this final season (sad face). So we’re just going to coast along for the ride and enjoy every intense second of it.

Tonight, you will find out quickly what the club plans to do with Juice, and as always, it ends on some cliffhanger (at least lately) – and this week’s… It’s ‘eye opening’ to say the least. But you shall see tonight; we don’t want to spoil anything. Just know it’s still the same great SONS. Stuff is always going down, and it’s not always pretty.
