Snuggle up with this irresistible new trailer for ‘CHRISTOPHER ROBIN’

Christopher Robin (Ewan McGregor) with his longtime friend Winnie the Pooh in Disney’s CHRISTOPHER ROBIN.

Winnie the Pooh is a beloved character that was a part of many of our childhoods. The legacy of A.A. Milne’s creation endures still to this day. However, with the advent of innovative, out-of-the-box-thinking, we’re treated to different ways to expand this classic character’s journey. Last year we saw the semi-gritty, semi-saccharine, totally tonally off-balanced GOODBYE CHRISTOPHER ROBIN. But now, audiences will see a film that looks like it strikes the precise balance between fantasy and real-world realities with director Marc Forster’s CHRISTOPHER ROBIN.

Be forewarned: You’ll want to cuddle this trailer.

The film stars Ewan McGregor, Hayley Atwell, Bronte Carmichael, Mark Gatiss. It also features the voices of: Jim Cummings as Winnie the Pooh and Tigger; Brad Garrett as Eeyore; Toby Jones as Owl; Nick Mohammed as Piglet; Peter Capaldi as Rabbit; and Sophie Okonedo as Kanga.

Here’s the official synopsis:

In the heartwarming live action adventure Disney’s “Christopher Robin,” the young boy who shared countless adventures with his band of lovable stuffed animals in the Hundred Acre Wood is now grown up and living in London but he has lost his way. Now it is up to his childhood friends to venture into our world and help Christopher Robin rediscover the joys of family life, the value of friendship and to appreciate the simple pleasures in life once again.

I can tell I’m already going to be a goner during this one. This image below of our friends from the Hundred Acre Wood indicates tissues will be necessary. Also does the pre-requisite of leaving any of our real world cynicism at the theater door. I mean, just look at how much unbridled joy is on Tigger’s face!!!

Madeline Robin (Bronte Carmichael) and her father Christopher’s longtime friends Tigger, Piglet and Winnie the Pooh go on an adventure in Disney’s CHRISTOPHER ROBIN.

CHRISTOPHER ROBIN hits theaters on August 3.
