Hot off its debut at the Los Angeles Film Festival, ANNABELLE: CREATION released a second haunting trailer for the feature that releases in August. And boy howdy does it look like one devil of a frightening horror film.

Directed by David F. Sandberg (LIGHTS OUT), the prequel tells the origin stories of our favorite eternally damned doll from THE CONJURING: the Annabelle doll. Starring Miranda Otto, Anthony LaPaglia, Talitha Bateman and Lulu Wilson, this grief-fueled feature is guaranteed to give you the heebie-jeebies. It’ll probably keep you up at night.

Take a look:

This second trailer shows a few more scares to grab your attention. It looks like the filmmakers ratchet up the intensity on the physical stuntwork involved. Annabelle is pissed! If this is anything like LIGHTS OUT, they are saving the really big frights for the price of your movie ticket.

ANNABELLE: CREATION opens on August 11.
