Trailer for A24’s ‘A GHOST STORY’ arrives to lift your spirits

David Lowery is one of the most inspiring filmmakers working today. It’s a pretty special feeling to know someone from the place you grew up (Dallas-Fort Worth) is making movies with Disney (PETE’S DRAGON) and is directing the likes of Rooney Mara and now-Oscar-winner Casey Affleck (AIN’T THEM BODIES SAINTS).

His latest film, A GHOST STORY, is being distributed by A24 — who recently won the Oscar for MOONLIGHT, and has put out great films such as EX MACHINA and the upcoming FREE FIRE. The word is this moving film – about a recently deceased husband (Affleck) returning home to reconnect with his wife (Mara) – is so good that you should even watch the below trailer. (Note: I watched it. A24 and Lowery are good about playing it close to the chest, so you’re good to let this movie lift your spirits.)

SYNOPSIS
