RESULTS | 105 min | Rated R
Director: Andrew Bujalski
Cast: Guy Pearce, Cobie Smulders, Kevin Corrigan, Giovanni Ribisi, Brooklyn Decker, Anthony Michael Hall and Zoe Graham

After premiering in the Dramatic Feature category at Sundance and at SXSW last month, Andrew Bujalski’s film RESULTS is finally making its way to the Dallas International Film Festival.

RESULTS follows recently divorced, newly rich, and utterly miserable, Danny (Kevin Corrigan) is the perfect test subject for a look at the relationship between money and happiness. Danny’s well-funded ennui is interrupted by a momentous trip to the local gym, where he meets self-styled guru/owner Trevor (Guy Pearce) and irresistibly acerbic trainer Kat (Cobie Smulders). Soon, their three lives are inextricably knotted, both professionally and personally.

Bujalski’s 2013 film COMPUTER CHESS was made with a delightfully retro aesthetic that exhibited the quirkiness of his filmmaking style. He puts together this talented ensemble that will steal the spotlight when it opens up in limited release May 29th.

However, if you’re in Dallas this weekend, you can see RESULTS on Friday (4/17) at 7:30 p.m. and/or on Sunday (4/19) at 2:30 p.m. at the Texas Theatre. All ticket and screening information can be found on diff2015.dallasfilm.org.
