Ladies and gents! Get ready to swoon over the new trailer for director Derek Cianfrance’s THE LIGHT BETWEEN OCEANS. Not only is this a gorgeous rendering of the best-selling novel by M.L. Stedman, it looks like it’ll capture the elegance of the novel through performances by real-life couple Michael Fassbender (a.k.a. “my Fassy”) and Alicia Vikander.

Take a look at the stunning trailer. But beforewarned: your gut will experience a sinkage around the minute thirty mark and your eyes will experience a slight stinging followed by water leakage.

Did y’all read the book? From what you can tell, do you think they’ve portrayed what was on the page beautifully? I have a feeling it will be hard to deny this romance.
