Despite all the speculation swirling around JUSTICE LEAGUE (of which I would totally love to see a documentary about), it appears it has managed to rise above all the gossipy, behind-the-scenes chatter. And, judging by the latest trailer, boy does it deliver on a wallop of hope! In time, all the background noise of re-shoots and replacements will fade and the kick-assery of the actual film will remain.

Take a look:

Here’s the official synopsis:

Fueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman’s selfless act, Bruce Wayne enlists the help of his newfound ally, Diana Prince, to face an even greater enemy. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to find and recruit a team of metahumans to stand against this newly awakened threat. But despite the formation of this unprecedented league of heroes—Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and The Flash—it may already be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.

I don’t think I’m alone in my excitement to see how these characters will work together as a team, finding their strengths and overcoming their weaknesses as an elite squad. In the fleeting glimpses we see, their chemistry seems ridiculously on point. I’d also be lying if I said I didn’t get a slap happy grin on my face anytime Aquaman (Jason Momoa) opened his mouth. And, I gotta say, in the time we’re living in marred by such darkness and chaos, I sincerely hope JUSTICE LEAGUE (just like WONDER WOMAN before it) will deliver on the promise of some seriously heartening, uplifting inspiration.

JUSTICE LEAGUE opens on November 17.
