Movie News: Will Smith’s First ‘SUICIDE SQUAD’ On-Set Images As Deadshot

Since Will Smith’s casting in the 2016 release of DC Comic’s SUICIDE SQUAD, Warner Bros. has received tons push back from fans and pretty much every member of the peanut gallery. Director David Ayer has an all-star cast including Jared Leto (who we already saw in his full Joker make-up), Margot Robbie (Harley Quinn), Scott Eastwood (Scott Trevor, future love-interest of Wonder Woman), Joel Kinnaman (Rick Flagg), and Jai Courtney (Captain Boomerang). So getting butts in seats won’t be a problem, but the internet wants to know, what’s up with Will Smith’s threads?

Here is the IMDB plot synopsis for SUICIDE SQUAD:

“A secret government agency recruits imprisoned supervillains to execute dangerous black ops missions in exchange for clemency.”

The Fresh Prince can’t seem to catch a break, but to be fair, the days of Big Willie Weekend are long gone. This could be why he is trying his hand in the DC Universe that Warner Bros. have been setting up as they try to replicate the success of Marvel. In the photos he seems to be clad in New York style suit circa 1975, but the one interesting bit is Smith is playing this role bald. Now, he’s never been known to be a chameleon with the roles he chooses, but expect him to done a spandex suit when the studio reveals their official photos.
