I have to know how the new film separates itself from its 1988 original, and I have to know what Mark Hamill brings to the role that Brad Dourif made his own.
In anticipation of the new film – starring Aubrey Plaza, Gabriel Bateman and Brian Tyree Henry – Orion Pictures held a special screening on Wednesday night at Alamo Drafthouse in Austin. Not only did people arrive to see the movie, but they came dressed as the murderous doll Chucky!
Check out some of the images below, and be sure to visit the drafthouse.com to see about any other fun upcoming films they have going on. (Hint: It’s practically every day.) And catch the new CHILD’S PLAY in theaters this weekend!
