‘Professor’ behind Wonder Woman as fascinating as his creation

Fresh off the red hot heels of summer, where we got the first big screen adaptation of Wonder Woman, we now get the story of how the lasso-swinging Amazonian princess was created. PROFESSOR MARSTON & THE WONDER WOMEN is remarkably moving biopic all about ideas. It explores the philosophy of being in love with more than one person at the same time and touches on concepts of dominance and submission. Luke Evans (this year’s BEAUTY AND THE BEAST) turns in poignant performance as Dr. William Marston, whose relationship between his wife (Rebecca Hall) and lover (Bella Heathcote) inspired one of the most iconic superheroes of all time. Don’t be surprised if it racks up some major awards.

‘Vincent’ film recalls painter’s life in stunning strokes

This story about the life and death of renowned artist Vincent van Gogh (creator of the famous “Starry Night” painting) feels like an entirely new kind of movie, thanks largely to its innovative directors Dorota Kobiela and Hugh Welchman. Starring Chris O’Dowd (BRIDESMAIDS) and Saoirse Ronan (upcoming LADY BIRD), LOVING VINCENT is a living, breathing work of art. Every frame of the film is an oil-painting done by professional painters from all across Europe. It won’t compare to any other movie experience you’ve ever had.
