I have been working as a film journalist since 2010, dividing the first four years between radio broadcasting and entertainment writing in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex. In 2014, I entered Fresh Fiction (FreshFiction.tv) as the features editor. The following year, I stepped into the film critic position at the Denton Record-Chronicle, a daily North Texas print publication. My time is dedicated to writing theatrical film reviews, at-home entertainment columns, and conducting interviews with on-screen talent and filmmakers, as well as hosting a podcast devoted to genre filmmaking (called My Bloody Podcast). I've been married for seven happy years, and I have one son who is all about dinosaurs just like his dad.
Here’s the first teaser-trailer for the 24th James Bond adventure– titled SPECTRE. Daniel Craig returns to play James Bond a fourth time, and behind the camera is Sam Mendes, who returns as director after SKYFALL.
The film also features Christoph Waltz as Franz Oberhauser; Léa Seydoux as Dr. Madeleine Swann; Monica Bellucci as Lucia Sciarra; Andrew Scott as Denbigh; Dave Bautista as Mr. Hinx; Ralph Fiennes as Gareth Mallory, aka M; Naomie Harris as Eve Moneypenny; Ben Whishaw as Q; Rory Kinnear as Bill Tanner; and Jesper Christensen as Mr. White.
The trailer feels even darker than SKYFALL, and this is a direction that I personally love.
There are more hints of Bond’s past here– some that even may surprise you. From the trailer, we can except SPECTRE to be more of a character-driven piece, which I am all for.
SPECTRE opens in theaters everywhere on Nov. 6th.
