Some of you may asking: who is Asher Bradshaw? Perhaps you’ve seen the videos circling on the internet of the 6-year-old skateboarder who can bust out the best moves and tricks. His videos went viral and he quickly became a skateboard sensation.

SHReD: THE STORY OF ASHER BRADSHAW is an inspiration documentary about the kid himself and his dream to become the world’s youngest sponsored skateboarder. Like some of the many great docs this year, the film is more than just following around Bradshaw as he shows off his skills on a board. We also see him go through family struggles– how his father fights to support his family while doing everything he can to make sure his son’s dreams come true.

The film also includes great footage and insightful interviews with some of skateboard’s most iconic riders, such as Tony Alva, Skip Engblom (founder of the Zephyr Skate Team/Dogtown and ZBoys) and more.
