Could we pass these ‘TRANSFORMERS: THE LAST KNIGHT’ doctored photos as real history to Trump?

Courtney Howard // Film Critic

New TRANSFORMERS: THE LAST KNIGHT posters that have made their onto the interwebs and, guys, they are actually not revolting. They are kind of good looking – if you’re into that kind of thing. While I still think they can go towards a mass-marketable MONDO side, the traditional route doesn’t insult my eyes and tells me all I need to know about the next chapter in their saga: there are robots and there will be fighting.

The next two character posters hint that the giant robots have been with us from medieval times, to World War II (with Bumblebee appearing to have formerly been an Allied forces vehicle).

What’s more is that a few other “photographs” leaked onto their facebook page, hinting further at their past role in monumental, historical happenings:

My only question is: Could we possibly pass off these clearly doctored photos as real history to our sitting president? I feel like there might be a spin-off movie idea in there somewhere – like a modern comedic, political spin on the WAR OF THE WORLDS radio show hysteria.

TRANSFORMERS: THE LAST NIGHT opens on June 21.
