‘OUIJA: ORIGIN OF EVIL’ is a dark af sequel to ‘HELLO, MY NAME IS DORIS’

….Not really. But for the amount of times they say the name “Doris” in this new, absolutely haunting trailer for OUIJA: ORIGIN OF EVIL, you’d think it could be. In the Mike Flanagan-directed sequel, a little girl named Doris apparently gets her mitts on a ouija board and finds herself overcome by the spirit world. Spooktastic calamity ensues.

Here’s the official synposis:

In 1965 Los Angeles, a widowed mother and her two daughters add a new stunt to bolster their séance scam business and unwittingly invite authentic evil into their home.  When the youngest daughter is overtaken by the merciless spirit, this small family confronts unthinkable fears to save her and send her possessor back to the other side.

Flanagan, who directed the scary and smart horror gem OCULUS, once again re-teams with screenwriter Jeff Howard (no relation to me) to really creep us out with some indelible and crazy frights with this prequel.
