We screencapped the BLADE RUNNER 2049 teaser so you wouldn’t have to

Director Ridley Scott is no stranger to the fandom surrounding his classic films. Remember the fervor around his ALIEN “sequel/ not a sequel/ totally a sequel” PROMETHEUS? History again is repeating itself, though slightly differently with another one of his films, BLADE RUNNER. This time, however, Scott relinquished control to another bold visionary, director Denis Villeneuve (ARRIVAL, ENEMY, SICARIO). And, whew, guys? BLADE RUNNER 2049 looks like it’s straight out of our dreams – the place where cinematographer Roger Deakins lights everything.

Here’s the official synopsis:

Thirty years after the events of the first film, a new blade runner, LAPD Officer K (Ryan Gosling), unearths a long-buried secret that has the potential to plunge what’s left of society into chaos.  K’s discovery leads him on a quest to find Rick Deckard (Harrison Ford), a former LAPD blade runner who has been missing for 30 years.

Gorgeous, right? Let’s bliss out on that high style further, shall we?

BLADE RUNNER 2049 opens on October 6, 2017.
