International moviegoers are lucky. Not only do their auteurs have superb precision when it comes to crafting their version of cinema, movie studios bend over backwards to give the audiences stronger trailers. This is certainly true in the case of director Denis Villeneuve’s BLADE RUNNER 2049. The aesthetics are tremendous, of course, but it’s the action that really shines in this latest trailer.

Prepare your eyeballs for maximum bliss!

We see a bit more here than in the previous trailers – mainly that appears Jared Leto’s character is up to something very nefarious, “constructing an army,” K suspects. It also look like there will be some kind of explosive tussle in a scrapyard.

Here’s the official synopsis:

Thirty years after the events of the first film, a new blade runner, LAPD Officer K (Ryan Gosling), unearths a long-buried secret that has the potential to plunge what’s left of society into chaos. K’s discovery leads him on a quest to find Rick Deckard (Harrison Ford), a former LAPD blade runner who has been missing for 30 years.

BLADE RUNNER 2049 opens stateside on October 6.
