I’ve been told to keep a look out for director Tom Ford’s NOCTURNAL ANIMALS – and I’m suspecting you should keep a close watch on it too. Ford’s previous film, A SINGLE MAN, was aching and pristine. As evidenced by the trailer, his follow-up looks even more astounding. I can’t wait to put all the chic into my eyeballs.

Here’s the deliciously vague official synopsis:

Winner of the Grand Jury Prize at the 2016 Venice International Film Festival. From writer/director Tom Ford comes a haunting romantic thriller of shocking intimacy and gripping tension that explores the thin lines between love and cruelty, and revenge and redemption. Academy Award nominees Amy Adams and Jake Gyllenhaal star as a divorced couple discovering dark truths about each other and themselves in NOCTURNAL ANIMALS.

And talk about star-power, it co-stars Michael Shannon, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Isla Fisher, Karl Glusman, Armie Hammer, Laura Linney, Andrea Riseborough and Michael Sheen.

NOCTURNAL ANIMALS opens in staggered release to maximize it’s burning buzz:

In Select Cities November 18
In Additional Cities November 23
In Theaters Nationwide December 9
