My future 3rd husband, Bradley Cooper, gets back in the kitchen for his role in The Weinstein Company’s upcoming feature BURNT. Many of you will remember he played a chef – based on Anthony Bourdain, in fact- early in his career on the short-running Fox series KITCHEN CONFIDENTIAL. There he played a temperamental bad-boy food genius. In director John Wells’ BURNT, he’s also playing another bad-boy – this time one in recovery. It also marks an AMERICAN SNIPER reunion with co-star Sienna Miller.

Here’s the official synopsis:

Chef Adam Jones (Bradley Cooper) had it all – and lost it. A two-star Michelin rockstar with the bad habits to match, the former enfant terrible of the Paris restaurant scene did everything different every time out, and only ever cared about the thrill of creating explosions of taste. To land his own kitchen and that third elusive Michelin star though, he’ll need the best of the best on his side, including the beautiful Helene (Sienna Miller). BURNT is a remarkably funny and emotional story about the love of food, the love between two people, and the power of second chances.

The film, written by Steven Knight (who also is no stranger to kitchen-based dramatics having adapted THE 100 FOOT JOURNEY) and Michael Kalesniko (IRON SKY and PRIVATE PARTS), also co-stars Omar Sy, Daniel Brühl, Matthew Rhys, Uma Thurman and Emma Thompson. While I’m not sure if this will earn any awards talk for Cooper, I will be it will make our mouths water with all that #FoodPorn showcased.

Get turnt when BURNT opens on October 23.
